2024 Fundraising Campaigns
Campership
A summer of discovery, a lifetime of memories. It is our belief that summer camp is a meaningful experience for every child. Cuscowilla Nature and Retreat Center is a unique facility for day camp experiences. Facilities include swimming, archery, fishing, boating, hiking, arts and crafts, basketball, a climbing tower and ropes course, and court activities. Facilities are complemented with fun and nature focused educational programming. Friends of Cuscowilla works to provide free camp experiences through Camperships that encourage the academic and physical health of our children.
Our goal for 2024 is again supporting free day camp camperships at Cuscowilla. These camp scholarships will enable youth to attend a week-long day camp at no cost to them. Our emphasis is on providing an equitable opportunity for low income, diverse youth in Alachua County to attend camp.
Campership donations of $150 will send a child to day camp for a week.
Please consider making a donation that will enrich a child’s life. Any amount is welcome.
