About Friends of Cuscowilla
Friends of Cuscowilla is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Alachua County, Florida. It was formed in 2020 as a volunteer organization to assist with improvements, programming, special events, and fundraising for Cuscowilla Nature and Retreat Center.
Since then we have subsidized hundreds of “camperships” for low-income children to attend Cuscowilla’s award-winning summer camp, funded dozens of teacher trainings and field trips for Alachua County students, and made significant investments in enhancing the Cuscowilla facilities.
